Of the similar games I've played, it's a bit reminiscent of Marvel Ultimate Alliance, TMNT3: Mutant Nightmare, and Alien Swarm, with the camera mostly being from above. I'd play a full-fledged game like that, it has potential. The combat is simple, but it's sufficient for this game. The game supports a gamepad (in my case, a PS4), but not all functions are bound to it, so you'll need to play with a keyboard.
